We’re delighted to be featured on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list! 🎉
As well as being listed a top 10 big organisation to work for, we achieved a Highly Commended award for Best Place to Work for disabled employees.
The Sunday Times awards, honour and celebrate Britain’s top employers and acknowledges the best workplaces for women, LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and wellbeing.
To be considered for the list, more than half of Benefex employees had to respond to 35 survey questions that measure their employee experience, covering six key drivers of engagement: Reward and Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Pride, Job Satisfaction and Wellbeing.
Benefex scored highly in all areas of the survey – with a 90% score for employee empowerment, 86% for reward and recognition, 88% for average happiness, and 89% for job satisfaction. 95% of employees said they have a good relationship with their manager, and 88% of employees said they have confidence in management (against an industry benchmark of 73%).

- We champion wellbeing through our ‘Time for You’ initiative, that gives employees 2 half days off/year. This was only introduced six months ago, and 433 ‘Time for You’ sessions have been booked so far.
- We’re committed to investing in people and helping employees build the careers they want; there have been 113 promotions within Benefex in the last 12 months (that’s one in five employees!).
- As well as being a remote-first organisation, we currently cater for 87 different working patterns and have 50 part-time employees, helping ensure that work works for our people and that they have the freedom and flexibility to spend time with the people who matter most to them.
