Benefex shifts gear to double down on product and global investments amid rapid growth
23-01-2024
Benefex confirms 77% growth in global revenues, another strong year for the platform that helps organisations deliver Benefits, Recognition and Wellbeing experiences to employees around the world.
In an update to the market Benefex confirmed that they are now live in over 90 countries, enabling hundreds of organisations to support millions of employees. The latest update shows that the platform is fast becoming the default selection for global organisations looking to maximise the investment they are making in employee reward and benefits.
In sharing the results, Founder & CEO, Matt Macri-Waller commented, “Customers have seen that our OneHub platform is the only one they need to run, manage and engage employees in any benefit program around the world. Putting our customers in control of their spend and enabling organisations to personalise their offering for employees continues to resonate. To support this growth we will be growing our headcount by more than 30% over the next two years.”
Macri-Waller added, “We are lucky enough to have some of the most talented people in the market. Our next phase of growth has three goals:
- Ensure our operational resources are within +/- 3 hours of where our customers are located, with increased investment in each of the US, UK, Europe and APAC offices;
- Accelerate product development, to ensure that we continue to solve the most pressing challenges and problems for our customers; and
- Launch a new delivery model that simplifies how we engage with customers, providing them with dedicated Strategic Consulting, enhanced 24/7 support and improved speed of change.
Overall we want to help as many organisations as possible to deliver exceptional experiences to their employees. This will help us do that.”
Michael Tigwell, Chief Operating Officer of Benefex explained, “In the next 24 months, we plan to grow the number of Benefex employees by more than 200, with sizeable investment into Product and Engineering. A key part of the proposed changes includes the introduction of a new approach to creating value for our customers, with a laser focus on delivering with improved speed and quality. Whilst we are excited about the next phase of our journey, the introduction of new technology, supported by a simpler, more scalable structure would see us reduce the size of the Consulting function by approximately 20 roles in the short term.
Whilst change that impacts any number of people is always hard, the foundation the structural changes give us along with the overall growth in Benefex employees over the next two years, means we can be more confident than ever in realising our ambitious growth plans.”
Macri-Waller added, “I want to thank every customer who has joined us on this journey so far. Our customer community is incredible. You continue to push us to innovate and build products that not only solve your problems, but help shape the future of this market.”
